NEW ICEM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The ICEM General Assembly was held on 29th September 2011 as part of the ICEM-SIIE Joint conference in Aveiro. It was during this meeting that the new ICEM Executive committee nominees were elected into office, including the new ICEM President, Dr. Anita Stangl. This year also saw the expansion of the Executive Committee from six voting members to eight, a list of whom you will find below.

The Executive Committee is the group responsible for the overall management of the organisation with regard to its strategies, events, promotion and representation. The Committee is elected by the ICEM members during the General Assembly, which normally takes place during the ICEM conference in Autumn.
The Executive Committee may only be made up of ICEM members in good standing and the term in office is for two years. Committee members may serve two consecutive terms but must then wait at least one year before running for election again. The terms in office are staggered so as to ensure continuity in the group and avoid the election of a complete committee every two years, i.e. half of the committee is elected each year.
