Aims & Scope
Educational media has made a considerable impact on schools, colleges and providers of open and distance education. This journal provides an international forum for the exchange of information and views on new developments in educational and mass media. We place a strong emphasis on educational media production, distribution, and use, and interdisciplinary research that reflects the diversity of the educational technology profession. We also publish articles and seek to stimulate research in emerging educational media areas, such as those created by globalization, technology developments, public policy shifts, future trends, and innovation.

EMI donation programme

E-mail Print PDF

During the 2010 ICEM Conference and General Assembly the topic arose concerning the increasing problems some institutions are facing regarding restricted access to educational journals. It was therefore proposed by the secretariat that ICEM take measures to try to alleviate this problem by allowing its members to donate their copy of the journal to another institution which may be in more need of it. The journal is already included in the ICEM membership fees and thus every ICEM member is entitled to a copy of EMI. However, some members are from a production background and hence do not require a full subscription to the journal. Members may therefore now nominate an institution/organisation/individual to receive their copy or may simply let ICEM decide who the recipient should be. Non-members may complete the donation programme application form to have their details included in the donation recipient database. This database will be reviewed by the Executive Committee and recipients will be chosen chronologically as soon as an EMI subscription becomes available.

Please note that this programme is run solely within the ICEM network and is in no way connected to Routeldge or the Taylor & Francis Group
